Smoothie Recipe of the Week: Canadian Thanksgiving Green Cran-Apple Smoothie

Well, we grow cranberries and apples up here in Canada, and this is a perfect blend! I am so thankful for the fruitful life I am blessed with. I extend a Happy Thanksgiving to all who are gathering with family and friends and God's blessings to those who are spending Thanksgiving on their own this coming weekend.
Put the following into your blender:

  • 1 C. Fresh or Frozen Cranberries
  • 2 Lg. Handful of Baby Spinach
  • 1-2 chopped, cored Apples of choice
  • Raw Honey or Stevia or Maple Syrup to sweeten (optional)
  • Filtered Water to smoothie quantity you desire
p.s. Happy Thanksgiving-- but you CAN make this smoothie any time.. it is high in antioxidants, Vitamin C and iron-- cranberries are an inhibitor of urinary tract infections (without added processed sugars).
