Pineapple-Blueberry Smoothie Porridge Bowl

My husband and I generally have a smoothie and a bowl of oatmeal porridge for breakfast.  It was only a matter of time until we blended the two into a "smoothie porridge bowl."

I am going to hashtag these recipe ideas as #tomorrowssmoothiebowl on Twitter and Instagram, the point being that you might like the looks of it, but maybe you don't have the ingredients you would like or try.

Pineapple-Blueberry
Porridge Smoothie Bowl

Start with a lovely creamy bowl of oats, either steaming hot or overnight oats that you have soaked in plant milk for 8 hours or over night.
(Ours contains about a small
 handful of Thompson's raisins. )

2. Now, gently pour on about a 1/4 of a cup of fairly thick, sludgy smoothie-- I am using plain blueberry smoothie here (blueberry, banana and water).

3. Add on pineapple chunks, banana rounds and a sprinkle of hempseed.

4. Enjoy with your fave plant milk, or as is!

Anthony William's Heavy Metal Detox Smoothie - Low Fat Vegan

Maybe you have already run across Anthony William, the Medical Medium.  Maybe you are already doing his celery juice protocol, or another of his healing missions.

At the very least, if you do this particular protocol after listening to this video, you will feel well.  Some of the comments from people under the video suggests that people have had their immune systems and energy boosted, and one mom stated that her son had slept for six hours straight for the first time in eight months.  Of course, people have varying results from all protocols and "cures".

If you are not allergic to the 5 main ingredients that he uses in this protocol-- cilantro, Vimergy Barley Grass, spirulina, dulse, and wild blueberries--  you could notice a wonderful change in the way you feel.  Check it out with your doctor.

Watch the video to get the scoop.  Happy to bring it to you as part of our "everything-smoothie" mission on this website.

Get your wild blueberries any way you can!  Anthony William says not to "get picky' about where you can get the wild blueberries.  He said to get the wild blueberry powder if you don't have access to the fresh or frozen berries.  Here is an 18-day supply through Amazon, organic wild blueberries from Northern Scandinavia.

You can buy all of his books on Amazon.  If you can't wait to get them, check out your local library.  If they are not in the catalog there, you might be able to request that they order them in.  Our son did that in his local library and was very satisfied when they enthusiastically complied.
Anthony William says the cultivated blackberry is more powerful than the cultivated blueberry-- it is closer to the wild state.

If you are sensitive to the cilantro taste, you don't have to use the whole clump.

The idea is to get the metals out of your body.

Can't afford a blender? Check at the thrift stores (really!) or if you have a food processor, use it, and eat it with a spoon.

Avoid Fruit Fear!  The banana is most powerful thing for your digestive tract.

Watch him make the smoothie (above in video).

Enjoy!!!

Pineappuccino (or Home-made Pineapple Frozen Whip)

This refreshing fruity drink is a take off on the frappiccino family of sweet frozen fruit drinks that my granddaughters love so much.  It is also a bit of a copy cat of a famous pineapple whip from one of the world's favourite amusement parks.

Here are the ingredients for making 4 servings of this delicious, cooling drink:

  • 1 cup ice cubes
  • 2 pineapples, peeled and cored (you can use the core too, if you have a Vitamix or Blendex)
  • 1 organic lime, juiced
  • 2 tablespoons raw honey or maple syrup (or sweetener of choice)
  • 1 1/2 cups of coconut milk

  • Add all the above to the cannister of your Vitamix or Blendex blenders... other blenders may need to do this in a couple of batches.
  • Place on the lid securely
  • Pulse or blend until a smooth, frozen consistency
  • Pour into a tall glass and enjoy!

SILK Summer Smoothies (5)

5 green SILK Smoothies

Here is an assortment of summer smoothies from the SILK non-dairy milk company that look pretty delicious.  They might be better suited to summer, but I think they are drinkable at any time of the year-- or that is my opinion.

Generally the Green Smoothies on here do not include non-dairy milks, just water as the liquid base, but once in while, why not?  As long as you don't find the combo kind of heavy or affecting your digestion in combination with various fruits, etc., go for it!

Here is the perky video with "The Domestic Geek"<<subscribe.  The ingredients list follows underneath the video below.  You will have to figure out the actual amounts of each item yourself, but I am sure you can do that! HINT: Be conservative with the salt and other condiment ingredients, you can always add a little more after a taste-test, but putting in too much is pretty nigh impossible to undo.
